Paul Tolme has every right to be absolutely livid with Edwards because she clearly used his book to fill in the extra spaces in her romance novel. Edwards had no reason to add the part about the meerkats in that scene, I personally think it would ruin that scene anyways to get so far off top[id like that. Edwards not only ruined her book by adding that part but also ruined her rep. by plagiarizing Tolme's book. She had to have read his book or have a copy of it to be able to sprout out those facts that she had in her book. That proves that she had to have known what she was doing the whole time, and she did not even think twice about it. Paul Tolme showed what kind of person he was when he ignored the Email that he received from smartbitchestrashybooks.com and decided not to press charges on Edwards for plagiarizing. If I was Paul Tolme, I do not think that I would have taken it the same way that he did. I probably would have sued Edwards for using the work that I put out there myself, I Could not let her get away with something like that.

Although I agree that plagiarism is wrong and it hurts the author and even the person trying to steal the words of another, I feel as if Tome was right at the end of the article when he stated that the whole point of his story was lost in the mess made by the author of the romantic novel. The black-footed ferret never got the credit they deserved or the attention they needed. Kind of sad.
