This article rambled on about the same thing for the most part. Although, I find it interesting that he acquired such a strong accent from being in England for only nine years. I would've thought it would have taken much longer than that. It is odd that he got so much attention from Americans though. I myself, can't say whether I would be interested on such a high level just by the way someone speaks. I don't see how it could interest someone so much because people see Brits on TV all the time. I don't usually become extremely fascinated by a British accent when I see one on TV. I've only met one person in my life with a British accent and it was interesting, but I was not extremely fascinated by it like he makes it seem like all Americans are. Maybe it was just the type of people he surrounded himself with. Maybe that was such a rare thing for them to see. I'm not sure, but I know I don't think that a British accent makes a person so much more interesting or entertaining. Then again, not everyone is alike.
