Response to Move Over Meerkat Manor

I don't understand why someone would put a bunch of ferret facts in the middle of a romance novel. It makes the scene awkward and the text didn't flow with the rest of the story or writing. You can tell that the whole passage doesn't belong. I also think that the woman should have at least apologized for stealing Tolme's work instead of acting like she had no idea what he was talking about. That's high schooler attitude. She's supposed to be a professional writer. I understand that sometimes it's hard to find topics to add into you're story but that's why you have to be creative. She still could have used facts about ferrets but at least put it into her own words. That's disrespectful.
