As a beginner in writing having someone steal your work would be awful. I don’t understand what he did to handle it. He just kept writing so that people would know it came from him. Back then people could get away with plagiarism. The question is, is why would someone want to steal someone else’s words anyway? With his story in the article it kind of gets confusing but it was nice to understand what was his actual story and how the guy stole it. Sounds like Edward tried to steal a lot of peoples work. As Edward I wonder what he thought of this article when he saw it. Also what his motives were for stealing. Did he ever get any punishment? I would want someone getting in big trouble for stealing my glory on a piece of writing that I worked hard on. Today I’m glad that people can’t get away with it. People now try really hard to prevent plagiarism. If they didn’t people would get away with stealing anything and we would have a lot of angry people. The people who steal it I hope they write their own things and maybe realize that it was wrong all along.
