In the story james dillard witnessed an accident and tried to help the injured victim. I know it was a risky situation but he could be the reason why the victim is still alive today. How could anyone with a heart just drive by the scene? That would haunt me for the rest of my life. Either way I think people would find something to bring him down. Whether it'd be him taking the chance to help the victim or driving by. Nothing he did would've been right. I believe James had the right because he was well educated and only needed one more year of school. I see it as trying, a little help is better than nothing. If he made things worse I could understand the whole issue with law. I would never of done something like this because I don't have the education or the confidence that James had. I wonder how James felt knowing the fact that he risked his career to help a victim who signed out of the hospital because he couldnt get a drink. I also wonder how the victim would've felt if he knew what James did.
